| What if I forget my password? | Click on "forgot password" - when new password is obtained, you can go under your account > edit profile, and return it to your original password. |
| I don't get a response from another member. | Some members may not check email as often as others, they may be on vacation, having computer/connection issues, etc. Try another member for a needed item. |
| Can I buy or sell anything on this site? | no |
| How do I add myself to a group? | After logging in, click on "groups & favorites". |
| What is a group? | Any organization, workplace, church, hobby club, etc. that is registered with our site. |
| What if I live in a high rise, condo or apartment complex, subdivision, etc.? | Simply register a group for the floor(s) desired, bldg number, subdivsion, etc. You then could search specifically within that group. Of course, you'd want others within that applicable group to be active members as well. |
| What if I can't seem to find any items in my area? | Please be patient - this is a brand new site, and will take some time to build up membership. Utilizing the "groups" feature is probably the easiest way to quickly add items in your specific area. It can be a great community builder at your work, church, subdivision, etc! |
| Do I have to loan items in order to borrow items? | No, it's not required, although if you're not willing to loan items out, is it right to borrow them? |
| What if I don't have anything to loan out? | It's hard to imagine you have NOTHING. You'd be surprised what you have that someone would appreciate borrowing. If it's not currently on our site, let us know and we will consider adding it. |
| Does it cost anything to join? | Absolutely - you get to pay 5 bucks! (initial year) |
| Why can't you just search by proximity (distance)? | It costs more money. We plan on adding this in the future, or if you'd like to make a donation... |
| How do I view my own reviews/ratings? | Go to "My Account", it's listed along the left hand side. |
